When I turned vegan 2 years ago I had to abandon my go-to breakfast options of scrambled eggs and breakfast bars. I had to become inventive and find vegan breakfast ideas, that were also high in protein.
It wasn’t until I moved to Brighton that I decided to fully adopt a vegan diet, and strive to avoid animal cruelty in anything I buy -even in regards to household goods like dish soap and laundry detergent.
This Friday I am presenting you one of my favourite Christmas recipes, the “melomakarona” -pronounced meh-loh-mah-KAH-roh-nah.
This year, I decided to try and make a vegan pumpkin bread. As of lately I am trying to avoid gluten, so I also made this recipe gluten-free!
As the title suggests, this is a vegan take of the traditional recipe. 😌
